The lab. Between client work we make posters to keep the hand sharp — typographic experiments, print volumes and concept pieces. This is where the blob was born: a doodle in the margin of a maths notebook that refused to stay there.
No briefs, no rounds, no “can the logo be bigger.” Just ideas at full volume. The experiments that start here have a habit of sneaking into client work later — sharper type, braver colour, weirder layouts.
If the client projects are the restaurant, this is the test kitchen. Some dishes make the menu. Some explode. Both are useful.
